MAX Transit is available in two versions: MAX-TST and MAX-TST-DUO, with single and dual LTE modems, respectively. MAX-TST-DUO features two redundant cellular modems and SIM slots, allowing up to four different cellular providers to be used for bandwidth aggregation To reduce connection congestion and interference, simultaneous dual-band Wi-Fi 11ac offers two independent networks that can also work together, maximizing the throughput that passengers can take advantage of. The MAX Transit also features a customizable captive portal that allows passengers to login with Facebook. Once logged in, InControl 2 can be used to get in-depth reports on user demographics. Of course, MAX Transit also supports external captive portals, allowing them to connect to an advertising server. In this way, Wi-Fi hotspots can also become a source of revenue.
